CASCADIA WRITERS PRESENTS ...

"Ballet of the Golden Trees is an uplifting journey through the natural world. An eclectic mix of the author's encounters with nature, animals, and travel, the descriptive settings invite you into each poem. Experience the beauty of a deer in spring, the mystery of an owl at night, the heartache of losing an animal dear to us, the majesty of the snow leopard in its natural habitat, adventures in the Himalayas, and much more."

Meet your fellow writer, Anne Curtis

A Pacific Northwest poet, Anne Curtis writes poetry that tells stories of the natural world, animals and travel. Much of her writing reflects everyday life, her horses, and nature. Travel experiences also inspire her poetry. She has visited several Himalayan regions and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Burkina Faso. Retired from a career in public health, Anne now devotes much of her time to writing, riding her horse, and volunteering with conservation organizations. She lives in Washington State with her family, two dogs, and a horse named Chutney.
