Kim knew she was hooked on writing at a young age. At Cal Poly, she had veterinary ambitions but graduated instead with a BS in journalism after finding she fainted at the sight of blood. Adventures on horseback is what inspired short stories throughout her teens. She is now passionate about how one dog can change a life. Happiness Is My Dog blog highlights her two fur soul mates Emma & Maebel and encourages others to share their experiences. A former musician, Kim is currently writing memoirs about the ups and downs of becoming a drummer.
