Current project: Lawless Broken Dreams
Stephen G. Wyndover is the pen name of Mark Delaplane, a writer, photographer, and digital artist whose work explores themes of identity, resilience, and transformation. His debut novel, Lawless Broken Dreams, is a literary historical coming-of-age story set in 1970s Colorado, and the first installment in a planned series chronicling the life of Jonah Lawless—a young man navigating personal loss, rebellion, and the pursuit of purpose in life.
Delaplane’s background in photography and visual arts informs his narrative style, which is marked by vivid imagery and emotional depth. His storytelling is rooted in visual observation and a lifelong passion for capturing the world around us through both lens and language. He writes with a focus on character-driven fiction that blends literary sensibility with accessible emotional arcs.
